第五章
『1』此谓知本。
『2』此(ci)谓知之至也(ye)。
右传之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)五章,盖(gai)释格(ge)物(wu)致知(zhi)(zhi)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)义,而(er)今亡矣。□[闲(xian)]尝窃取程子之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)意,以(yi)(yi)补之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)曰: 「所谓(wei)(wei)(wei)致知(zhi)(zhi)在(zai)格(ge)物(wu)者:言欲至吾(wu)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)知(zhi)(zhi),在(zai)即(ji)物(wu),而(er)穷其理(li)也(ye),盖(gai)人心之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)灵,莫不(bu)有(you)(you)知(zhi)(zhi),而(er)天 下之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)物(wu),莫不(bu)有(you)(you)理(li)。惟(wei)於理(li)有(you)(you)未穷,故其知(zhi)(zhi)有(you)(you)不(bu)尽也(ye)。是以(yi)(yi)大学(xue)始教,必使(shi)学(xue)者即(ji)凡天下之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi) 物(wu)。莫不(bu)因其已知(zhi)(zhi)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)理(li),而(er)益穷之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi),以(yi)(yi)求至乎其极。至於用力之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)久,而(er)一(yi)旦豁(huo)然贯通焉。则 众物(wu)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)表里(li)精(jing)粗(cu),无不(bu)到,而(er)吾(wu)心之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)全体大用,无不(bu)明(ming)矣。此(ci)谓(wei)(wei)(wei)物(wu)格(ge)。此(ci)谓(wei)(wei)(wei)知(zhi)(zhi)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)至也(ye)。
