士章第五
资(zi)于事(shi)(shi)父(fu)以(yi)(yi)事(shi)(shi)母,而(er)爱(ai)(ai)同;资(zi)于事(shi)(shi)父(fu)以(yi)(yi)事(shi)(shi)君,而(er)敬(jing)同。故(gu)母取其(qi)爱(ai)(ai),而(er)君取其(qi)敬(jing),兼(jian)之(zhi)者(zhe)父(fu)也。故(gu)以(yi)(yi)孝事(shi)(shi)君则(ze)(ze)忠,以(yi)(yi)敬(jing)事(shi)(shi)长(zhang)则(ze)(ze)顺(shun)。忠顺(shun)不失,以(yi)(yi)事(shi)(shi)其(qi)上,然(ran)后能保其(qi)禄(lu)位,而(er)守其(qi)祭祀(si)。盖士之(zhi)孝也。《诗(shi)》云:“夙(su)兴(xing)夜寐,无忝尔所生。”

用(yong)(yong)奉(feng)(feng)事(shi)(shi)父(fu)亲(qin)(qin)的(de)(de)(de)(de)心(xin)情(qing)去(qu)奉(feng)(feng)事(shi)(shi)母(mu)亲(qin)(qin),爱(ai)心(xin)是(shi)相(xiang)同(tong)的(de)(de)(de)(de);用(yong)(yong)奉(feng)(feng)事(shi)(shi)父(fu)亲(qin)(qin)的(de)(de)(de)(de)心(xin)情(qing)去(qu)奉(feng)(feng)事(shi)(shi)国君,崇敬(jing)之心(xin)也(ye)是(shi)相(xiang)同(tong)的(de)(de)(de)(de)。所(suo)以奉(feng)(feng)事(shi)(shi)母(mu)亲(qin)(qin)是(shi)用(yong)(yong)爱(ai)心(xin),奉(feng)(feng)事(shi)(shi)国君是(shi)用(yong)(yong)尊敬(jing)之心(xin),两者兼而(er)有(you)之的(de)(de)(de)(de)是(shi)对待父(fu)亲(qin)(qin)。因(yin)此(ci)用(yong)(yong)孝道来奉(feng)(feng)事(shi)(shi)国君就(jiu)(jiu)忠诚,用(yong)(yong)尊敬(jing)之道奉(feng)(feng)事(shi)(shi)上级则顺(shun)从(cong)。能做(zuo)(zuo)到忠诚顺(shun)从(cong)地奉(feng)(feng)事(shi)(shi)国君和(he)上级,然后即能保(bao)住自(zi)己的(de)(de)(de)(de)俸禄和(he)职位,并能守住自(zi)己对祖先的(de)(de)(de)(de)祭(ji)祀。这就(jiu)(jiu)是(shi)士(shi)人的(de)(de)(de)(de)孝道啊!《诗(shi)经·小(xiao)雅·小(xiao)宛》里说∶“要(yao)早起晚睡地去(qu)做(zuo)(zuo),不要(yao)辱及生养你的(de)(de)(de)(de)父(fu)母(mu)。”
