有书生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)嬖一(yi)娈(luan)童(tong),相(xiang)爱(ai)(ai)如(ru)(ru)(ru)夫(fu)妇,童(tong)病(bing)(bing)将殁(mo),凄恋万状,气已(yi)绝(jue),犹手把书生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)腕(wan),擘(bo)之(zhi)(zhi)乃开。后(hou)梦寐(mei)见(jian)(jian)之(zhi)(zhi),灯月下见(jian)(jian)之(zhi)(zhi),渐(jian)(jian)(jian)至(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)白昼亦见(jian)(jian)之(zhi)(zhi)。相(xiang)去恒七(qi)八尺,问之(zhi)(zhi)不(bu)(bu)语(yu),呼之(zhi)(zhi)不(bu)(bu)前(qian),即之(zhi)(zhi)则(ze)(ze)(ze)(ze)却退。缘是(shi)惘惘成(cheng)心疾,符箓劾(he)治无(wu)验。其父姑令(ling)借榻丛林,冀鬼不(bu)(bu)敢入(ru)佛地(di)。至(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)则(ze)(ze)(ze)(ze)见(jian)(jian)如(ru)(ru)(ru)故(gu),一(yi)老僧曰:种种魔障(zhang),皆(jie)起于心。果此童(tong)耶?是(shi)心所招非此童(tong)耶?是(shi)心所幻,但空(kong)尔(er)心,一(yi)切(qie)俱灭(mie)矣(yi)(yi)(yi)。又一(yi)老僧曰:师(shi)对(dui)下等(deng)人(ren)(ren)说上等(deng)法,渠无(wu)定力,心安得(de)空(kong)?正如(ru)(ru)(ru)但说病(bing)(bing)证(zheng),不(bu)(bu)疏药物(wu)耳(er)。因语(yu)生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)曰:邪念(nian)纠结,如(ru)(ru)(ru)草生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)根(gen)(gen),当如(ru)(ru)(ru)物(wu)在(zai)(zai)孔中,出之(zhi)(zhi)以楔(xie),楔(xie)满孔则(ze)(ze)(ze)(ze)物(wu)自出。尔(er)当思(si)惟(wei)此童(tong)殁(mo)后(hou),其身渐(jian)(jian)(jian)至(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)僵冷,渐(jian)(jian)(jian)至(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)洪胀,渐(jian)(jian)(jian)至(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)臭秽(hui),渐(jian)(jian)(jian)至(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)腐溃,渐(jian)(jian)(jian)至(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)尸虫蠕动,渐(jian)(jian)(jian)至(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)脏(zang)腑碎裂。血肉狼藉,作种种色(se),其面目渐(jian)(jian)(jian)至(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)变(bian)貌(mao),渐(jian)(jian)(jian)至(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)变(bian)色(se),渐(jian)(jian)(jian)至(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)变(bian)相(xiang)如(ru)(ru)(ru)罗(luo)刹,则(ze)(ze)(ze)(ze)恐怖之(zhi)(zhi)念(nian)生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)矣(yi)(yi)(yi);再(zai)(zai)思(si)惟(wei)此童(tong)如(ru)(ru)(ru)在(zai)(zai),日(ri)(ri)长一(yi)日(ri)(ri),渐(jian)(jian)(jian)至(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)壮伟,无(wu)复媚(mei)态(tai),渐(jian)(jian)(jian)至(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)癕癕有须,渐(jian)(jian)(jian)至(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)修(xiu)髯如(ru)(ru)(ru)戟,渐(jian)(jian)(jian)至(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)面苍黧,渐(jian)(jian)(jian)至(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)发斑白,渐(jian)(jian)(jian)至(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)两鬓如(ru)(ru)(ru)雪,渐(jian)(jian)(jian)至(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)头童(tong)齿(chi)豁,渐(jian)(jian)(jian)至(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)伛偻劳嗽,涕泪(lei)涎沫,秽(hui)不(bu)(bu)可近(jin),则(ze)(ze)(ze)(ze)厌弃(qi)之(zhi)(zhi)念(nian)生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)矣(yi)(yi)(yi);再(zai)(zai)思(si)惟(wei)此童(tong)先死,故(gu)我(wo)(wo)念(nian)彼(bi),倘我(wo)(wo)先死,彼(bi)貌(mao)姣(jiao)好,定有人(ren)(ren)诱(you),利饵势胁,彼(bi)未必守贞如(ru)(ru)(ru)寡女,一(yi)旦引(yin)去荐彼(bi)枕席,我(wo)(wo)在(zai)(zai)生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)时(shi),对(dui)我(wo)(wo)种种婬语(yu),种种婬态(tai),俱回向是(shi)人(ren)(ren),恣其娱乐(le)。从前(qian)种种昵爱(ai)(ai),如(ru)(ru)(ru)浮云(yun)散灭(mie),都无(wu)余滓,则(ze)(ze)(ze)(ze)愤(fen)恚之(zhi)(zhi)念(nian)生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)矣(yi)(yi)(yi);再(zai)(zai)思(si)惟(wei)此童(tong)如(ru)(ru)(ru)在(zai)(zai),或恃宠 跋扈,使我(wo)(wo)不(bu)(bu)堪,偶相(xiang)触忤,反面诟谇,或我(wo)(wo)财不(bu)(bu)赡,不(bu)(bu)餍所求,顿生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)异心,形色(se)索漠,或彼(bi)见(jian)(jian)富贵,弃(qi)我(wo)(wo)他往(wang)(wang),与(yu)我(wo)(wo)相(xiang)遇,如(ru)(ru)(ru)陌路人(ren)(ren),则(ze)(ze)(ze)(ze)怨(yuan)恨(hen)之(zhi)(zhi)念(nian)生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)矣(yi)(yi)(yi)。以是(shi)诸(zhu)念(nian)起伏,生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)灭(mie)于心中,则(ze)(ze)(ze)(ze)心无(wu)余闲(xian)。心无(wu)余闲(xian),则(ze)(ze)(ze)(ze)一(yi)切(qie)爱(ai)(ai)根(gen)(gen)欲(yu)根(gen)(gen)无(wu)处容(rong)著(zhu),一(yi)切(qie)魔障(zhang)不(bu)(bu)祛自退矣(yi)(yi)(yi)。生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)于所教,数日(ri)(ri)或见(jian)(jian)或不(bu)(bu)见(jian)(jian),又数日(ri)(ri)竟灭(mie)。至(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)病(bing)(bing)起往(wang)(wang)访,则(ze)(ze)(ze)(ze)寺中无(wu)是(shi)二(er)僧。或曰古佛现化,或曰十方(fang)常住(zhu),来往(wang)(wang)如(ru)(ru)(ru)云(yun),萍水偶逢,已(yi)飞(fei)锡他往(wang)(wang)云(yun)。
先太(tai)夫人(ren)乳(ru)媪廖氏(shi)言,沧州马落(luo)坡,有妇以(yi)卖面为业。得余(yu)面以(yi)养姑。贫不能畜驴,恒自转磨,夜夜彻(che)四鼓。姑殁后,上(shang)墓归,遇二(er)少女于路(lu),迎而笑曰:同住二(er)十余(yu)年,颇相识否?妇错(cuo)愕(e)不知(zhi)所对。二(er)女曰:嫂(sao)(sao)勿(wu)讶(ya),我姊妹皆狐(hu)也,感嫂(sao)(sao)孝心,每夜助嫂(sao)(sao)转磨,不意为上(shang)帝(di)所嘉,缘是(shi)功行,得证正果。今嫂(sao)(sao)养姑事毕,我姊妹亦(yi)登(deng)仙去矣。敬来道别,并谢(xie)提(ti)携也。言讫,其去如(ru)风(feng),转瞬已不见。妇归,再转其磨,则力(li)几(ji)不胜,非(fei)宿昔(xi)之旋(xuan)运自如(ru)矣。
乌鲁木齐,译(yi)言好围场也。余(yu)在是地时(shi),有(you)笔帖式,名乌鲁木齐。计(ji)其(qi)命名之日,在平定西域(yu)前二十余(yu)年。自言初生时(shi),父梦其(qi)祖(zu)语曰:尔所生子,当名乌鲁木齐,并指画(hua)其(qi)字以(yi)示。觉而不省为何语,然梦甚(shen)了了,姑以(yi)名之。不意(yi)(yi)今果至此,意(yi)(yi)将终此乎?后(hou)迁印(yin)房(fang)主事(shi),果卒(zu)于官。计(ji)其(qi)自从征(zheng)至卒(zu),始终未尝离此地。事(shi)皆前定,岂不信(xin)夫。
乌鲁木齐(qi)又言(yan)有厮养曰(yue)巴拉,从(cong)征时(shi)(shi),遇(yu)贼每力战,后流(liu)矢(shi)贯左颊,镞出于右(you)耳之(zhi)(zhi)后,犹奋刀斫一贼,与(yu)之(zhi)(zhi)俱仆。后因(yin)事(shi)(shi)(shi)至(zhi)孤穆(mu)第--在乌鲁木齐(qi)特纳格尔之(zhi)(zhi)间,梦巴拉拜谒,衣冠修整(zheng),颇(po)不(bu)(bu)类(lei)贱(jian)役。梦中(zhong)忘(wang)其已死,问(wen)向(xiang)在何处,今将何往,对曰(yue):因(yin)差遣过此(ci),偶遇(yu)主人,一展积恋(lian)耳。问(wen)何以得官,曰(yue):忠孝节(jie)义,上帝所重。凡(fan)为国捐(juan)生者(zhe),虽下至(zhi)仆隶(li),生前(qian)苟无过恶,幽冥必与(yu)一职事(shi)(shi)(shi);原有过恶者(zhe),亦消(xiao)除(chu)前(qian)罪,向(xiang)人道转生。奴今为博(bo)克达山(shan)神(shen)部将,秩如骁(xiao)骑校也。问(wen)何所往,曰(yue):昌吉。问(wen)何事(shi)(shi)(shi),曰(yue):赍有文牒,不(bu)(bu)能(neng)知也。霍然而醒,语音似犹在耳。时(shi)(shi)戊子六月。至(zhi)八(ba)月十六日,而有昌吉变乱之(zhi)(zhi)事(shi)(shi)(shi),鬼盖不(bu)(bu)敢预泄云。
昌吉筑城(cheng)时,掘(jue)土至(zhi)五尺(chi)余,得红癗丝绣(xiu)花女鞋一(yi)(yi),制(zhi)作精致,尚(shang)未全朽。余乌鲁木(mu)齐(qi)杂(za)诗(shi)曰:筑城(cheng)掘(jue)土土深(shen)深(shen),邪许(xu)相呼万(wan)杵音。怪(guai)事(shi)一(yi)(yi)声齐(qi)注(zhu)目,半钩新(xin)月紵花侵。咏此事(shi)也。入土至(zhi)五尺(chi)余,至(zhi)近亦须(xu)数十年,何以不(bu)(bu)坏?额鲁特女子不(bu)(bu)缠足,何以得作弓弯样(yang),仅三寸许(xu)?此必有其(qi)故(gu),今不(bu)(bu)得知(zhi)矣(yi)。
郭六,淮镇农家妇(fu)(fu),不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)知其(qi)(qi)夫(fu)氏(shi)郭,父(fu)(fu)氏(shi)郭也(ye)(ye)。相传呼为(wei)郭六云(yun)尔。雍正甲(jia)辰乙(yi)巳间,岁大饥,其(qi)(qi)夫(fu)度不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)得(de)活(huo),出而(er)(er)乞食(shi)于四方,濒行对之稽颡曰(yue)(yue):父(fu)(fu)母皆老病(bing),吾以(yi)累汝(ru)矣(yi)。妇(fu)(fu)故(gu)有姿(zi),里(li)(li)少(shao)年(nian)瞰(kan)其(qi)(qi)乏(fa)食(shi),以(yi)金钱(qian)挑之,皆不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)应(ying)。惟以(yi)女工养(yang)(yang)翁(weng)姑(gu),既而(er)(er)必不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)能(neng)(neng)赡,则(ze)(ze)集邻(lin)里(li)(li)叩首曰(yue)(yue):我(wo)夫(fu)以(yi)父(fu)(fu)母托我(wo),今力(li)竭矣(yi),不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)别作计(ji),当俱(ju)死。邻(lin)里(li)(li)能(neng)(neng)助(zhu)我(wo),则(ze)(ze)乞助(zhu)我(wo),不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)能(neng)(neng)助(zhu)我(wo),则(ze)(ze)我(wo)且卖花,毋笑我(wo)--里(li)(li)语以(yi)妇(fu)(fu)女倚门为(wei)卖花。邻(lin)里(li)(li)趑趄嗫嚅,徐散去。乃恸哭(ku)白翁(weng)姑(gu),公然(ran)与(yu)诸荡子(zi)游,陰蓄夜合之资,又(you)置一女子(zi)。然(ran)防闲甚(shen)严,不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)使外人觌其(qi)(qi)面。或曰(yue)(yue)是将邀(yao)重价,亦不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)辩也(ye)(ye)。越三(san)载(zai)余(yu),其(qi)(qi)夫(fu)归。寒温 甫毕(bi),即与(yu)见翁(weng)姑(gu),曰(yue)(yue):父(fu)(fu)母并(bing)在(zai),今还汝(ru)。又(you)引所置女,见其(qi)(qi)夫(fu)曰(yue)(yue):我(wo)身已污,不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)能(neng)(neng)忍耻(chi)再对汝(ru),已为(wei)汝(ru)别娶一妇(fu)(fu),今亦付汝(ru)。夫(fu)骇愕(e)未答,则(ze)(ze)曰(yue)(yue):且为(wei)汝(ru)办餐,已往厨下自刭矣(yi)。县(xian)令来验,目炯炯不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)瞑(ming)。县(xian)令判葬(zang)于祖坟,而(er)(er)不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)癙夫(fu)墓。曰(yue)(yue):不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)癙墓宜绝于夫(fu)也(ye)(ye);葬(zang)于祖坟,明(ming)其(qi)(qi)未绝于翁(weng)姑(gu)也(ye)(ye)。目仍不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)瞑(ming),其(qi)(qi)翁(weng)姑(gu)哀号(hao)曰(yue)(yue):是本贞(zhen)妇(fu)(fu),以(yi)我(wo)二人故(gu)至此也(ye)(ye)。子(zi)不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)能(neng)(neng)养(yang)(yang)父(fu)(fu)母,反绝代养(yang)(yang)父(fu)(fu)母者耶?况身为(wei)男子(zi)不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)能(neng)(neng)养(yang)(yang),避而(er)(er)委一少(shao)妇(fu)(fu) ,途人知其(qi)(qi)心(xin)矣(yi)。是谁(shei)之过而(er)(er)绝之耶?此我(wo)家事(shi),官不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)必与(yu)闻也(ye)(ye)。语讫而(er)(er)目瞑(ming)。时邑(yi)人议论颇不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)一,先祖宠 予公曰(yue)(yue):节(jie)孝并(bing)重也(ye)(ye)。节(jie)孝不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)能(neng)(neng)两(liang)全也(ye)(ye),此一事(shi)非圣贤不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)能(neng)(neng)断,吾不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)敢置一词也(ye)(ye)。
御史某(mou)之伏(fu)法(fa)(fa)也(ye)(ye),有(you)问(wen)官(guan)(guan)白昼假(jia)寐(mei),恍(huang)惚(hu)见之,惊问(wen)曰:君(jun)(jun)(jun)(jun)有(you)冤耶?曰:言官(guan)(guan)受赂鬻(yu)章奏,于法(fa)(fa)当(dang)诛,吾(wu)何冤?曰:不(bu)(bu)(bu)冤何为来见我(wo)(wo)(wo)(wo)?曰:有(you)憾(han)于君(jun)(jun)(jun)(jun)。曰:问(wen)官(guan)(guan)七八人(ren),旧交 如(ru)(ru)我(wo)(wo)(wo)(wo)者(zhe),亦两三人(ren),何独憾(han)我(wo)(wo)(wo)(wo)?曰:我(wo)(wo)(wo)(wo)与君(jun)(jun)(jun)(jun)有(you)宿隙,不(bu)(bu)(bu)过进取相(xiang)轧耳,非(fei)不(bu)(bu)(bu)共戴天者(zhe)也(ye)(ye)。我(wo)(wo)(wo)(wo)对簿(bu)时,君(jun)(jun)(jun)(jun)虽(sui)引嫌不(bu)(bu)(bu)问(wen),而(er)陽陽有(you)德色;我(wo)(wo)(wo)(wo)狱成时,君(jun)(jun)(jun)(jun)虽(sui)虚词(ci)慰藉,而(er)隐隐含轻薄。是他人(ren)据法(fa)(fa)置我(wo)(wo)(wo)(wo)死,而(er)君(jun)(jun)(jun)(jun)以修怨(yuan)快我(wo)(wo)(wo)(wo)死也(ye)(ye)。患难之际,此最(zui)伤人(ren)心(xin),吾(wu)安得(de)不(bu)(bu)(bu)憾(han)?问(wen)官(guan)(guan)惶(huang)恐愧谢曰:然则君(jun)(jun)(jun)(jun)将报(bao)我(wo)(wo)(wo)(wo)乎(hu)?曰:我(wo)(wo)(wo)(wo)死于法(fa)(fa),安得(de)报(bao)君(jun)(jun)(jun)(jun)?君(jun)(jun)(jun)(jun)居心(xin)如(ru)(ru)是,自非(fei)载(zai)福之道,亦无庸(yong)我(wo)(wo)(wo)(wo)报(bao),特意有(you)不(bu)(bu)(bu)平,使君(jun)(jun)(jun)(jun)知(zhi)之耳。语讫,若(ruo)睡若(ruo)醒,开目已失所(suo)(suo)在,案上(shang)残茗尚(shang)微温 。后所(suo)(suo)亲见其惘惘如(ru)(ru)失,陰(yin)叩(kou)之,乃具道始末,喟(kui)然曰:幸哉(zai)我(wo)(wo)(wo)(wo)未下石也(ye)(ye),其饮恨犹(you)如(ru)(ru)是。曾子曰:哀矜勿喜,不(bu)(bu)(bu)其然乎(hu)?所(suo)(suo)亲为人(ren)述之,亦喟(kui)然曰:一有(you)私心(xin),虽(sui)当(dang)其罪犹(you)不(bu)(bu)(bu)服,况不(bu)(bu)(bu)当(dang)其罪乎(hu)?
程编修鱼门曰(yue):怨毒之于人甚矣哉。宋小岩将(jiang)殁,以片札寄其友(you)曰(yue):白骨可(ke)成尘(chen),游魂终(zhong)不散,黄泉业(ye)镜(jing)台,待汝(ru)来相见。余(yu)亲见之,其友(you)将(jiang)殁,以手(shou)拊床 曰(yue):宋公(gong)且坐。余(yu)亦(yi)亲见之。
相传某公奉使归,驻节馆舍。时庭菊盛开,徘徊花下,见小童隐映疏竹间,年可十四五,端丽温 雅,如靓妆女子。问知为居停主人子,呼与语,甚慧黠。取一扇赠之,流目送盼,意似相就。某公亦爱其秀颖,与流连软语,适左右皆不在,童即跪引其裾,曰:公如不弃,即不敢欺公。父陷冤狱,得公一语可活。公肯援手,当不惜此身。方探袖出讼牒,忽暴风冲击,窗扉六扇皆洞开,几为驺从所窥。心知有异,急挥之去,曰:俟夕徐议。即草草命驾行。后廉知为土豪杀人狱,急不得解,赂胥吏引某公馆其家,陰市娈童,伪为其子。又赂左右,得至前为秦弱兰之计,不虞冤魄之示变也。裘文达公尝曰:此公偶尔多事,几为所中。士大夫一言一动,不可不慎。使尔时面如包孝肃,亦何隙可乘。
